It occurred to me that I am constantly wondering what is going to happen next in life… What will the future hold?
I just have one simple thought to share…
I am thankful for the mystery of life. I am thankful that God doesn’t let us see every detail of what our future will hold. I am thankful that with each day there are new lessons, new trials, new things to laugh at, new moments of joy to experience, more reasons to love those who are dear to us, new people to meet…
So many reasons to be thankful that we don’t have it all figured out. So many reasons to be glad that we don’t know in advance what each day will bring. How tedious would life be if we already knew what lay ahead?
It’s safe to say that we may not welcome the difficult times, but we still learn from them. And when we do go through difficult times, the good things are that much easier to fully appreciate. So, thank You God, for each new day that unfolds, and for the new experiences that come, that shape and mold us into the people we are meant to be
